What is MagiCloud Radiator Search?
MagiCloud Radiator Search is the first online tool in the market that utilizes manufacturer verified data for real life product selection based on technical parameters such as power, room temperature and dimensions. It also supports many other criteria including radiator type and installation location.
MagiCloud’s Radiator Search finally utilizes the full potential of MagiCAD product databases and is now available with dynamic calculations for all MagiCloud users. It includes:
- 23 manufacturers with +200 000 real radiators
- Dimensions – length, height & width
- Heating power
- Room temperature – supply and return temperatures
- Type and location
- Online calculations
What makes the difference?
Our basic search was originally made for browsing products and users quickly to find the best matching product family from certain manufacturer or product group, for example, ventilation or piping. This is usually how all the BIM online services work. You search with key words hoping to find something useful, which works well when getting started. This is however not a good solution when you want to make the actual selection of an exact product, for example, when you want to select the correct size or define heating power to match your requirements.
With MagiCloud Radiator Search we go way beyond simple search. First of all, we wanted to understand the technical behavior of radiator products and how the actual MEP designers work. Then we utilized all the technical data from MagiCAD databases having +1 million product variants, and developed fast online calculations using the latest cloud technologies in order to provide the best possible user experience.
As a result, we are now launching the first premium selection tool for MEP designers who want to select an exact product model from various real manufacturers and select the product variant that fits perfectly into their design project.
