Danfoss is a leading Nordborg, Denmark-based manufacturer of heating, cooling, drives and power solutions. Danfoss Heating products — now available in MagiCloud — lead the market in automatic heating control technology. Danfoss has been serving the heating industry for more than 80 years, and was the original inventor of the radiator thermostat.

Today, Progman announces its new database of downloadable 3D product models from Danfoss Heating in MagiCloud. More than 100 products are fully downloadable from MagiCloud, while a total of 500 product variants are modeled in MagiCAD. The product modeling team within Progman has built this library of models over the past 10 years. The modeled products include control valves, balancing valves, manifolds, heat substations, and more.

Iztok Černeka, Manager Design Support Center at Danfoss Heating said: “It was so important for MEP designers to have our products modeled in Revit 2016/2017 file formats. Regardless of where in the world they are located, designers can access our products through MagiCloud’s online library and use them in their building designs. These designs could include large commercial buildings right through to single-family dwellings.”

Since 2001 Danfoss Heating products have been available in Progman’s flagship software, MagiCAD. “It’s been critical that this database of products is constantly updated, so that MEP designers always have the latest product variants,” said Černeka. “Our MagiCAD models are revised several times per year. Now by increasing our partnership to include MagiCloud, we’ve been enabled to get the library of our most popular products into the cloud, and therefore into the hands of more MEP designers.”

Danfoss Heating products are popularly used in countries including most of Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Pacific Asia, the US and China.
