The digitalisation of the building industry continues in Sweden. Significant parts of the Slussen project in Stockholm are being built without paper drawings, using digital models instead. The City of Stockholm believes this will result in higher quality and efficiency, which is why they have decided to trial projects which utilise legally binding computer models. The management of digital models is expected to be much more efficient than administering the approximately 20,000 paper drawings that would be otherwise required.
