We are proud to release some new plug-ins, including one from Swegon.

Swegon’s new plug-in (pictured below) enables you to install air handling units directly into your MagiCAD, Revit or AutoCAD project. Choosing the correct AHU based on project requirements and ventilation design is instant, without the need of leaving the design application. In the MagiCAD environment, the plugin tracks any changes during the project design for you, alerting you to adjust the AHU and to run MagiCAD balancing calculations.

As with all other Swegon MagiCAD plugins, Swegon AHU Plugin enables direct data transfer between Swegon’s calculation programs and your MagiCAD project. It includes ProUnit application, a calculation program for dimensioning and selecting air handling units. More information about using ProUnit can be found on Swegon’s webpages.

This plugin is just one way that you can save headaches, time and expense further in the build.

About MagiCAD Plugins

MagiCAD Plugins are complementary applications, enabling you to select products more easily from certain manufacturers. They also give access to a wider range of more complex products, e.g. Air Handling Units (AHUs). When the manufacturer has highly customisable products, a large number of product variants, or they want to help their customers in selecting and installing the most suitable product, a plugin is specifically developed. Close to 30 MagiCAD plugins exist and are totally free to use. The graphic below lists all the new plugins.
